Philipinnes' Medal Parade

Yesterday I went to Philipinnes Base. Was a very special day because they recieved his medal from UN.
It was a simple ceremony but full of meanings, like the presentation and explanation about their symbol, the eagle.
The most importants authorities, civilian and military, were there and military from others countries participating MINUSTAH too.
After the ceremony Mr. Luiz Carlos da Costa, the Special Representative of Secretary General was invited to planting a tree, a tradicional act. (a great honor for brazilian people!)
The dinner was simple, like Philipinnes people.
The most special moment was after dinner, a presentation about the phillippines' culture! Soldiers became singers and dancers it was very nice and make me think about our culture...what will we present about Brazil in our Medal Parade?
They have many women soldiers and despite the rigid discipline imposed by the command they dance graciously.
Simplicity, beauty, discipline, love to his beautifull country and happiness for being in a UN mission...it was what I saw there.
Let's go to Philipinnes!!
